Friend of the Sea <\/strong> was born with the aim of conserving and protecting the marine habitat, which today it promotes through the certification and promotion of products deriving from both fishing activities and sustainable aquaculture.<\/p>\n

A virtuous path that follows the FAO Guidelines <\/strong>, and which is defined in the application of very strict and selective certification criteria.<\/p>\n

The verifications carried out by FRIEND OF THE SEA are carried out in production companies <\/strong> by independent certification bodies, such as DNV <\/strong> and Rina <\/strong>, which are in turn verified by the national accreditation body, which in Italy is Accredia <\/a>. Those on board the boats are entrusted to independent observers hosted on board <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
